THEODORE KRAUSE

About Me.
Hello, my name is Theo!
I’m looking for a position where I can utilise and develop my design skills. I enjoy creative hobbies - Photoshop, making 3D models and models for fantasy game scenarios. I have an interest in toys, both designing and collecting! I also enjoy hiking, camping and spending time with our family dog.

Work Experience
UC Summer Scholarship | December 2021 - February 2022
Summer Scholarship working on a project titled: Design and visualise novel concepts for heating and cooling applications; funded by New Zealand’s Ministry of Business Innovation & Employment.
Solidworks was used for this project to help visualise concepts in a 3D environment. The project provided experience with concept generation and exploration. The project was a great learning experience, allowing me to work through elements of the design process (research, ideation). Having this experience helped to improve my confidence when working on my own third year final design project.
- 10 week project, working remotely, reporting to two supervisors.
- Concepts visualised and modelled in SolidWorks
- Weekly presentations to supervisors.
- Final presentation showcasing most developed concepts.
